Financing & Promotional Offer Disclosures

TL;DR – Financing & Offers

Advertised financing and promotional offers (interest-free periods, dollar-off discounts) are subject to terms, eligibility, credit approval, and expiration. Financing is provided by independent third-party lenders, not by Interlock. Actual pricing depends on your project. This page sets out the standard terms behind our advertised offers.

1. Promotional Offers

Advertised promotions (seasonal events, dollar-off discounts, or added-value offers) are limited-time, subject to change or withdrawal without notice, cannot be combined with other offers unless stated, and apply only to new qualifying purchases of an Interlock® Lifetime Roofing System. Minimum purchase requirements, geographic limits, and expiration dates appear in the specific offer. Discounts cannot be applied to prior purchases or contract amendments.

2. Financing Is Provided by Third Parties

Any financing, interest-free, same-as-cash, or deferred-payment option is offered by independent third-party finance partners, not by Interlock Roofing of America or I.E.L. Manufacturing Ltd. Interlock does not lend money, make credit decisions, or set financing terms, and is not a party to your loan agreement.

3. Credit Approval & Terms

All financing is subject to credit approval by the lender. Advertised rates, promotional periods (such as no-interest windows), minimum monthly payments, and any deferred-interest terms are set by the lender and disclosed in the lender's agreement. Deferred-interest promotions may charge interest from the purchase date if the balance is not paid in full by the promotion's end — read the lender's terms carefully.

4. U.S. Truth-in-Lending / Advertising

U.S. consumer-credit advertising is governed by the Truth in Lending Act and Regulation Z (12 CFR § 1026.24 for installment loans; § 1026.16 for credit cards), which bind anyone advertising consumer credit, including a contractor advertising a lender's program. On this website:

  • We state only terms the lender actually offers. Any rate is stated as an "annual percentage rate" or "APR"; "0% APR" refers to the promotional period shown beside it.
  • An offer that mentions a monthly payment, number of payments, repayment period, down payment, or finance charge also states the down payment, full repayment terms including any balloon payment, and the APR.
  • A "no interest if paid in full" offer states the deferred-interest period, the words "if paid in full," and that interest runs from the purchase date if the balance is not paid by then.
  • An independent lender provides the financing; credit decisions, the loan agreement, and the Truth in Lending disclosures come from the lender. When we refer you to the lender, the loan contract carries the FTC Holder Notice (16 CFR § 433.2), which preserves your claims and defences against the seller.

New York. Interlock Roofing of America is not a lender and does not arrange credit. Any financing is offered by an independent lender or by the contractor you hire, subject to that lender's approval, and the lender's Truth in Lending disclosures govern. A New York home improvement contractor that arranges or is paid anything in connection with financing must disclose the arrangement and every fee in writing and obtain your written agreement to it (N.Y. Gen. Bus. Law § 771-a); if the contractor itself extends instalment credit, the contract must carry the "NOTICE TO THE BUYER" required by N.Y. Pers. Prop. Law § 402.

Promotions on this site never involve an insurance deductible. New York forbids a roofing contractor to "advertise or promise to pay or rebate all or any portion of any insurance deductible," including by allowance, discount, gift, coupon, credit or referral fee (§ 771-b(2)), and the county codes forbid paying compensation to procure a contract (Nassau County Admin. Code § 21-11.9(10); Suffolk County Code § 563-10(H)). We do not advertise such offers or a price net of a rebate (§ 350-a(4)). Deposit rules for New York roofing are in our Terms of Service, Section 5.

5. Canada Cost-of-Borrowing Disclosure

In Canada, financing is subject to provincial cost-of-borrowing and consumer-credit disclosure requirements. The lender provides the required disclosure statement before you become obligated.

6. Pricing & Estimates

Prices, savings claims, and estimates are preliminary and non-binding until confirmed in a written agreement with your authorized installer, and depend on project size, scope, location, and site conditions. See our Terms of Service.
